"Asking questions such as how do we as humans experience different emotions? How does the journey through our emotions lead us from darkness to light? We found as we collaborated we had begun to steer more towards the journey from darkness to light rather than emotions. We enjoyed the challenging concept of how an audience would receive a dance done in darkness. How does music influence this journey even with the absence of movement? Personally I pondered how the exploration of darkness and light affected movement and occupation of space." -Sara Parrish
